Senior Stylist

A native of Washington DC, Azair has been a professional stylist for over 30 years . He received his cosmetology license from Aveda Institute and learned from some of the best stylists in the area. Azair has participated in events such as Fashion week for New York , DC and Virginia and is one of Twist It Sista‘s longest working stylists. He specializes in textured hair, locs, haircuts, silk press and natural hairstyles . Azair has a love for all hair types and is looking forward to helping his next client.

Delphine Tchameni

Stylist

Ms. Delphine is a Master Braider with over 10 years of experience specializing in Knotless Braids, Crochet Braids, Box Braids, Feed-In Braids and much more. Ms. Delphine is very Meticulous and Fast when it comes to braiding and styling for her Clients.

Karen Anderson

Senior Stylist

A veteran of hair care, Karen has been a cosmetology instructor since '93 and does it all from cuts, color, weaves, and natural hairstyles. Karen has taught hair care at Dudley Beauty College and Hair Academy and her extensive experience shows through her care for each customer. Although she loves doing locs, she is the resident hair care doctor, ensuring the hair is healthy before being styled. She not only brings experience to Twist It Sista but a one-of-a-kind personality.

Tawan Frazier

Tawan has returned to Twist It Sista, bringing her unique Braiding style and Intricate Two-Strand Twists, Starter Locs, Loc Retwists, Loc Maintenance and so much more.

Yvonne is an artist that has worked in the beauty industry for over 10 years. She has a talent for creating new trends and providing clients with unique, personalized styles that flatter them.

Malik Riley

Stylist

Malik is a 2nd Generation Cosmetologist with over 25 years of experience. As a Renowned Loctician, Malik traveled to Bermuda to work for the Aveda Hair Company as their only Natural Hair Stylist.

Later in his Career, Malik opened Yaffa Natural Hair Salon in Atlanta, where he continued to perfect his skills as a Master Loctician. Malik enjoys locking Natural Hair into Starter Locs, Loc Retwists, Interlocking Locs, Microloc Retie, Comb Twists and much more, just to name a few.

Tavia Ricks

Stylist

Tavia is a native Washingtonian who received her Natural Hair Care license from the Bennett Career Institute. She started styling her own hair at a young age and would often do hair for family and friends.

Tavia brings her knowledge and expertise to Twist It Sista, where she specializes in Loc Maintenance, Loc Retwists, Loc Repair, Two Strand Twists, Cornrows and much more.
